This is a Canadian Coast Guard ship cruising up Indian Arm near Campbelltown. It felt like an oddity at the time because, even though this is an inlet from the ocean, it seems completely surrounded by land. When I check the map, I find out that it's just off the main route of the Lewisporte - Labrador freighter.
