Working Lighthouses

I particularly like lighthouses in Newfoundland because they're almost always working lighthouses still using the basic structure of a hundred years ago. Many of them are tourist sites as well (particularly the one at Cape Spear), but these two don't draw many and are still kept well because of their function. Only recently did the government stop paying full time light keepers (much to the furor of a job starved economy), but the lights are still doing their jobs. The upper one is at Point Ritchie near Port au Choix. The lower one is at Cape Norman which is as far north as you can get on the island of Newfoundland. Cape Bauld is further north and the one which makes it on the maps, but it's on Quirpon Island, just barely off the coast (so close that there's a ferry just for the motel on it).
